Our Business Model:

The Start of Something New from Something Tried and True

Kidogo Kids is a collaboration with Ajiri Tea Company—a women-owned company that has been working with communities to create employment for women and support education in western Kenya for over 13 years. Applying the same tried and true circular business model as Ajiri Tea Company, Kidogo Kids leverages markets in the U.S. to create sustainable employment for women in Kisii, Kenya.

Ajiri Tea Company creates employment for women, supports the local economy, and sends orphans to school in Kisii, Kenya.

Creating Employment for Women

Each pair of pants is sewn by women in western Kenya. We work directly with talented Kenyan seamstresses. We believe that employment, fair wages, and locally-sourced materials, are a strong recipe for creating lasting economic and social change.
